Blueprint

This project, which has been running for two years, is designed to help people recovering from mental ill health get back into employment. It is aimed, in particular, at those on incapacity benefit who need to work in a supported environment with help from experienced mentors. We are one of four partners in the project which is funded by Jobcentre Plus and the European Social Fund (ESF). Blueprint provides two training streams, IT and Catering & Hospitality.

Blueprint has been an extremely popular project and we have had a waiting list for both streams throughout the year. Funding for the project has been extended until February 2008. Blueprint has been selected as one of four particularly successful ESF projects. It will be used in national publicity to showcase the value of the ESF and to launch the new ESF programme.
