Quality assurance

Ongoing quality assurance is an integral part of the way that we work at Our Celebration. All of our training courses are subjected to external moderation and audit and our other services are regularly reviewed by City of York Council and the Primary Care Trust.

We maintain several quality standards, including Investors in People and are working towards Matrix accreditation of our Information, Advice and Guidance work.

The latest audit of our ICT training by the British Computer Society (the accrediting body) graded our project as ‘A’ with commendations on our organisation and audit trails.

All of our staff and volunteers receive supervision and appraisals and attend training throughout the year to further develop their professional skills.

Our Management Committee includes trustees with clinical, business and professional skills who meet every month to monitor the activities of the charity.
